MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in Java or C++.
- 2 years of experience with Embedded systems, wireless communications and
networking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience with building scalable systems and integration testing.
- Experience with Android or iOS development

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
You will also design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software
solutions.
The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services
that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of
Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to
help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take
action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and
health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and
actionable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide
amongst available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best
practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability,
and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content
based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the
sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations
and quality.
