Purpose of the Position:
The Mechanical Room Specialist will ensure the efficient and reliable operations of mechanical systems, installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment for our clients throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.
Reporting Structure:
The Plumber/Pipefitter (Mechanical Room Specialist) reports directly to the Retro Fit/Special Projects & Service Manager

Primary Responsibilities:
Assemble and install boilers, pumps, hydronic systems, air to water chillers, water to water chillers, and heat pump systems
Read and interpret project drawings and create layouts
Mount specialized equipment as per client needs
Measuring, cutting, and grooving pipes as required
Comply with code requirements and regulations
Prepare work estimates
Work with the project team, contractors, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Experience, Education, & Qualifications
Specialization in mechanical room preferred
Journeyman plumber with Class “B” gas certification
Class 5 driver's license or equivalent is required
Class “A” gas certification considered an asset
Pipe fitting experience considered an asset
Steam experience considered an asset
