We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Parts Technician to join our team!
Job summary
As a Parts Technician, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries related to aftermarket parts, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products.You will manage day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, as well as maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts and services in a professional and timely manner;
Insert customers’ orders, provide quotes and follow-up on back orders and perform invoicing;
Conduct necessary research using various sources of information, document, and update prices to facilitate future searches;
Supervise the storage and distribution of parts while maintaining appropriate stock levels;
Establish procedures and policies to ensure data accuracy, order tracking, and adherence to delivery timelines;
Assist in purchasing activities and coordinate order deliveries;
Require quotes to vendors, generate PO, monitor delivery times and receiving;
Perform receiving/shipping duties from material handling to system updates;
Manage inventory control, including daily cycle counts;
Perform light local pick-ups (Driver's Abstract required).
Profile
Apprentice/Journeyman, Part Technician or equivalent experience;
In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and ERP software;
Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of JD Edwards , RF Smart and Gen Alpha (assets);
Technical knowledge in the automotive field, or preferably in the machinery industry (hydraulic & electrical);
Basic accounting skills and an understanding of inventory management;
Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an asset;
Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service;
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
