About the Role
We’re looking for a marketing intern with a strong foundation in graphic design to support the creation of branded assets for internal and external communications. This full-time in-person position is based in Edmonton, reporting directly to our Marketing Specialist. It’s ideal for a post-secondary student who is excited to build real-world experience designing materials that directly support program impact, community storytelling, and consulting strategy.
You’ll work hands-on with our marketing team to create design assets that make a real impact — from templates and reports to social media content and event materials. This in-person role is perfect for a post-secondary student eager to put their design skills into action and build a portfolio filled with meaningful work.
What You’ll Work On
Develop and refine proposal development templates for internal and client use
Design PowerPoint and presentation templates for company-wide and client-facing communications
Create branded annual and impact reporting templates, ensuring brand consistency in style and tone
Support miscellaneous daily design needs, including social media assets, event signage, and internal communications materials
Help maintain and organize our library of visual assets and design files for ease of access and brand aligned organization
Develop training guides to empower teams to use and update templates with ease
Follow brand guidelines while bringing fresh ideas and creative strategy to every project
Assist with versioning and production of design files for both digital and print
Who You Are
A post-secondary student currently enrolled in a graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or related creative program
Previous experience is considered an asset, whether through freelance work, internships or school projects
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Comfortable using Canva for quick-turn social graphics and template-based work
Familiar with additional tools like Figma, Google Slides, or PowerPoint
A strong eye for detail, layout, typography, and colour
Organized, creative, and collaborative — you’re confident managing multiple projects and timelines
Passionate about community, design, and the power of storytelling
