Here's How Provide solution-focused, short-term counselling to a diverse clientele facing a wide range of personal and work-related challenges. Assess client needs, establish goals, and develop individualized strategies within the scope of their EAP coverage. Create personalized, action-oriented plans to support clients in achieving meaningful outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in alignment with TELUS Health’s clinical standards and protocols. Collaborate effectively with TELUS Health’s internal EAP team to ensure seamless client care. Adhere to professional, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines while complying with all relevant policies and regulations. Stay current with best practices in mental health care and actively engage in continuous professional development. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work. Current registration in good standing with your licensing body or professional association, along with valid professional liability insurance coverage. Minimum of 5 years post-graduate counselling experience across diverse populations. Strong skills in short-term goal setting and solution-focused counselling approaches. Confidence in managing high-risk cases, including clients at risk of harm to self or others. Experience working with individuals, couples, and families, and familiarity with local community resources. A professionally maintained private office for in-person sessions.
