Job Duties:
Stand streetlights
Install shallow utility infrastructure
Troubleshoot streetlights and cable faults
Troubleshoot and install Traffic Signals
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematic diagrams
Install and maintain power distributions
Understand Highway safety regulations
Experience pouring concrete is an asset
Read and interpret survey and grade stakes
Qualifications:
Registered apprentice Electrician
Ability to prioritize activities, working independently or with a team
Great communication skills
Interested in learning Street Lighting & traffic signals
Aerial work platform or bucket truck training would be an asset
Class 3 or class 5 w/ Q endorsement drivers license is an asset
