We are looking to add a Part-Time Yard Attendant to our team to support our landscape maintenance crews. Main Purpose of Job:
The Part-Time Yard Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting our landscape maintenance teams by ensuring equipment is well-maintained, organized, and ready for use. This position focuses on routine equipment checks, refueling, and maintaining an orderly yard and work environment. This position is open to candidates who are available Monday-Friday for approximately 4 hours each day in the late afternoon or early evening.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Wild Ridge Core Values: Embody our company values of Relationships, Integrity, Leadership, Professionalism, and Creativity in all aspects of the role.
Fuel & Maintenance: Regularly fuel up trucks, equipment, and jerry cans to ensure smooth operations for the landscape teams.
Cleanup & Organization: Clean out trucks at the end of each day, disposing of any garbage or unnecessary materials. Ensure the yard and shop are organized, with equipment put away properly.
Inspection & Reporting: Conduct daily inspections of trucks and equipment for defects, damage, or necessary repairs. Ensure that tire pressure, lights, and other essential components are in working order. Complete any required equipment reports.
Small Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on small equipment, such as line trimmers, blowers, and similar tools.
Fluid Checks: Monitor and top up fluids for trucks and equipment as needed.
Sharpening & Washing: Maintain sharp mower blades and pressure wash equipment as required. Clean both the inside and outside of trucks.
Inventory Management: Keep track of supplies and inform the supervisor when inventory levels are low or out of stock.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of the landscape teams.

Qualifications:
Previous experience with equipment maintenance and landscaping tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
