Work Model: HybridPosition SummaryAs a Database Administrator (DBA) in our Bahamas Service Delivery group, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying highly secure database solutions for our Bahamian government customers. In this position, you will provide ongoing support and tune and optimize their performance to ensure they remain highly available, reliable, and secure.ResponsibilitiesDatabase Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet organizational requirements. Collaborate with System Architects to plan DBMS capacity and hardware requirements.Database Deployment: Install and configure the production system locally in advance of shipment to customer site. Train and support Developers and Local Service Providers (LSPs).Database Migration: Define database migration strategy and design replication topology and methodology.
