ValPay is looking to hire a highly ambitious, driven Account Executive – Embedded Financial Products!
ValPay is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for an Account Executive to accelerate our momentum globally. You’ll own a book of customers across various verticals, helping them unlock growth through embedded finance tools, AI products and software solutions.
You’ll be joining a high-performance GTM team building the future of fintech for SaaS. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, like building trust with customers, and have a strong sales track record, this role is for you.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Montreal, Saint-Laurent, working in a hybrid work model!
What your day will look like:
Provide guidance as to team structure and future hires
Contribute to sales growth by qualifying leads and setting product demonstration appointments with potential new client accounts
Build and maintain sufficient pipeline coverage, including both inbound and outbound calling
Keep up-to-date records of activities in our CRM (Salesforce)
Maintain knowledge of any new products, features, and offers
Interact, sell and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and potential customers
Develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
Attend and staff trade shows / in-person events when required
Interact with accounts, leads, contacts, and opportunities according to sales department's best practices, policies, and procedures
Demonstrate empathy and build trust in external relationships with our clients
Build and maintain a pipeline of new business and account expansion opportunities
About You:
3+ years in the software or payments sales space
Consistent track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor
Hungry, ambitious, driven, motivated salesperson mentality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Internet, and basic math skills
Experience working in Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is a plus
Optimistic, outgoing, and self-motivated with a friendly personality
The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Bring a proven entrepreneurial spirit and pace-setter traits
Flexible and able to adapt to change
Must possess exceptional communication skills and time management skills
Competitive spirit
Ability to build rapport with potential clients
