Job Summary
The Contents Lead will report to the Contents Manager and will be under the supervision and training of the Contents Supervisor. This position focuses on the organization, safety, and efficiency of the job site, leading the job from beginning to end. Using their experience, a Contents Lead also uses great people skills to direct other technicians in completing required tasks. Lastly, a Contents Lead reports to their listed Supervisor on complex problems, feedback on staff performance, constructive suggestions, and updates on site progress.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company procedures and maintain records as per the Systems and Procedures Manual
Adhere to client schedules and project timelines.
Manage all aspects of contents processing for various job types (fire, water, mold, etc.).
Supervise, train, and assist staff, including crew chiefs and technicians.
Oversee documentation, including contents lists, photographs, and ICAT software usage.
Coordinate supplies, storage, and processing areas.
Address and monitor site conditions, ensuring proper work environments.
Oversee paperwork, timesheets, and salvage documentation.
Implement and maintain an on-call schedule for contents personnel.
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
Develop and share written procedures with staff.
Support administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure work site safety, including hazard assessments, PPE compliance, and stakeholder awareness.
Perform warehouse inspections, maintain equipment, and oversee maintenance tasks.
Monitor competitor activities and promote the employer brand locally.
Participate in continuing education, corporate events, and team-building activities.
Requirements
2 – 5 years of experience in the Restoration industry and contents work is preferred
Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling a minimum of 30 lbs.
Class 5 driver’s license
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution abilities
Great time management and organizational abilities
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to resolve conflicts, solve problems, motivate, encourage, and build teams
Demonstrate support for innovation and departmental change
Possess leadership qualities and willing to further develop leadership competencies
Participate in the on-call rotation
Demonstrate the sharing of the core values of the company and the Contents Department
Benefits
The successful candidate will become eligible for benefits after completing their probationary period, including a company-issued cell phone, LTD, and more.
Compensation
Wage: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
