Position Summary
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Nespresso to work remotely in the Montreal and South Shore region, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Lead. This position is accountable for regional field sales initiatives aligned with the national strategy to optimize sales performance. You will improve the assortment of machines and increase brand visibility among various retail partners (stores), while fostering strong relationships with store management and sales associates. Your goal will be to establish Nespresso as the preferred coffee system in stores and to serve as a dedicated Ambassador for the Nespresso brand.
A day in the life of a Regional Sales Manager
You will be responsible for independent account management, which entails securing shelf space, facilitating in-store demonstrations, and driving inventory sales. Furthermore, you will train staff on the latest innovations and oversee the demonstration program within your territory, ensuring adherence to Nestlé and Nespresso's business principles and policies.
You will also:
Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment, supply and minimize OOS as well as updating of expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting
Analyse business data to prepare and use it for POS discussions and negotiations
Ensure consistency of Nespresso brand presence and customer experience in all POS
Negotiate sell-out activities to maximize product rotation in store
Ensure an effective partnership between the POS and Nespresso that secures interests of both parties; maximizing sales and brand visibility (durable and non-durable POSM)
Identify and secure POS in high ROI and potential Retail Trade partner outlets for Nespresso
Maximize promotional activities and machine launch communication materials
Manage Demonstration activities according to trade guidelines, terms and conditions of the agency contract, and the use of the planning and reporting tool.
Liaise with demo agency for recruitment, planning, training, coaching of in-store demonstrators
Review and assess demonstrator, agency performance according to our Key Performance Indicators
Ensure that all compliance and control measures of the Demonstrators are audited and continuously adhered to
Comply with all Nespresso policies (expenses, travel, free goods, demonstration, health, and safety, etc.)
Submit all required HQ reporting accurately and on time
What will make you successful?
Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market
Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required while being open to frequent travel within the assigned territory.
2+ years of accumulated experience (including internships and coops) in retail sales, customer service or merchandising
Relationship management experience with all levels of management at store level, and retail trade partners is required
Some physical lifting required - up to 40lbs

Passionate, driven, results focused and able to develop and nurture key relationships
Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to business and market changes.
