About the role Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the full-time, Seasonal Bike Attendant. The Bike Attendant responsibility is to handle the complimentary bike program at the resort. The candidate will be assisting guests requests for bicycles, distributing and receiving the bicycles and adjusting the bikes to fit each guest. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance. Hourly wage: $25.50 - $27.50 What you will do Manage the complimentary bike program at the resort, assisting guests with bike requests and ensuring a seamless experience. Receive, store, and issue bicycle equipment and supplies. Ensure all bicycles are in safe working order, performing adjustments to fit each guest. Demonstrate courteous, helpful, and efficient service when interacting with guests and colleagues. Possess knowledge of bike mechanics and tag bikes for repair when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment, bike rental area, and personal appearance. Collaborate effectively with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment. Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee manual. Liaise with the concierge team to ensure guests have a smooth booking experience. Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the bike program. What you bring Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive and outgoing personality. Embrace hard work, being hands-on, and maintaining a busy work pace. Undertake the responsibility of keeping bikes clean and in good running condition. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and comfort with various specialty bike tools. Exhibit honesty, reliability, and responsibility along with a strong work ethic. Maintain weekday and weekend availability within the hours of 8 AM to 7 PM. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with the role. Stay productive during downtime and when working independently. Follow instructions meticulously and adhere to all company standards. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
