Trouw Nutrition is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Westlock, Alberta. About The Role: This position focuses on shipping/receiving, warehouse operations and bagging duties, while also supporting other roles within our production team. Responsibilities: Loading trucks via forklift and scanning products Inventory counting & control Operate machines and computer systems to produce animal feed in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding production targets Perform various tasks, including receiving and shipping ingredients and finished feeds Maintain documentation for Food Safety and adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards Conduct quality checks and perform physical and NIR testing on ingredients and finished products Assist in housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks as needed Other duties as assigned. Skills and Expertise Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent Previous experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing environment is preferred Forklift experience is required Skid steer experience is an asset Class 5 driver’s license is an asset Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills with attention to detail Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Expectation from the Role: Full-time position with shift work rotation and overtime as required. Mon-Fri Shift schedule: Shift hours between 6am-8pm, hours will vary and rotate weekly Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions, including loud sounds and dust.
