Job Description: Mechanical assemble machines and equipment, including sub-assembly and component assembly. Work within a team and independently with little supervision. Communicate well with others and develop constructive working relationships. Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings. Effectively operate hand tools, power tools, etc. Identify problems and recommend solutions. Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies. Assist with final adjustments and machine start-up, debug and testing and customer acceptance testing. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Crosstrain on various products as assigned. Work safely at all times and maintain a safe work area. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned Pay Range: $ 28.00/hr - 35.00/hr REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical Technician or Technologist, or Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of how to use a conventional Lathe and mill Mechanical Millwright or General Machinist license is an asset Strong organization skills, with close attention to detail WORK CONDITIONS Ability to lift and carry objects up to 60 lbs Manual dexterity required. Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards. Keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer. Noise level in the environment is usually moderate Use of PPE, including safety glasses and steel toe boots required. Overtime as required.
