ATCO Structures is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker in Grimsby, Ontario, to support the installation of HVAC systems/equipment within our modular units and buildings.
Within this role, you will work with a team of HVAC and other professional trades within our Manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components used in modular construction. This role is hands-on and requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools.
Assemble and install sheet metal components in modular units.
Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other trades and departments to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Experience working as a Sheet Metal Worker or an apprentice / Journeyman / Journeywoman Sheet Metal Worker.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Must be able to lift and carry 55 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Experience in modular or prefabricated construction is an asset.
