The Acoustics team is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with experience in software development for a full-time role. The successful candidate will coordinate complex projects involving speech and audio technologies, both customer-facing and internal product development. You will need to effectively communicate with and support our global customers, and interact with cross-functional teams, track requirements, timelines and follow software development processes. You will have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic global environment, working alongside outstanding colleagues. You will: Provide project management support to global customers relating to software deliverables, engineering resources, schedules, contracts, and process artifacts. Supervise weekly or bi-weekly customer meetings and track progress. Review project details with stakeholders such as sales, engineering, finance, product management, and quality management. Track software requirements and defects, test reports, documentation, process artifacts and budget during product releases. Identify and mitigate risk factors to drive successful completion of customer projects and suggest process improvements. Acquire general familiarity with QNX Sound, recognizing opportunities for application of our technology into customer programs, and communicating benefits at a high-level. You will have: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience. Experience in technical program/project management, ideally in the embedded, audio, or automotive industry. Experience with software development, either as project manager or developer. Excellent oral and written communication. Problem solving, integrity, and professionalism during customer interactions. It would be great if you have: A strong interest in or experience working with audio and/or speech processing. Experience managing commercial programs within the automotive industry. Experience with C, C++ programming, and/or UNIX-based operating systems such as QNX or Linux. Experiencing measuring compliance of software development processes with quality-related standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 26262.
