Join the Pros! We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Account Manager to oversee and grow a dynamic portfolio of key account(s). This role is critical to fostering long-term customer relationships, driving revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Bonus programs that include annual performance and profit sharing Employee discounts on top brands of plumbing and HVAC/R products Education reimbursement for employees Employee referral program Safety shoe reimbursement What will you do: Account Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts, managing relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders Revenue Growth: Develop and execute customized account plans to drive revenue, increase market share, and expand product penetration within assigned accounts Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic initiatives tailored to customer goals, leveraging cross-functional support (e.g., category management, operations, supply chain) Customer Retention: Maintain customer SLAs and proactively identify risks and opportunities to ensure client satisfaction and long-term loyalty Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements to ensure mutual value and profitability Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer shifts to adapt strategy accordingly Reporting & Analysis: Provide accurate sales forecasting, performance reporting, and pipeline updates to senior leadership What will you bring: Proven track record managing large, complex accounts exceeding $5M in annual revenue Deep understanding of HVAC systems, and industry dynamics 3-5 years’ experience preferably within HVAC, wholesale distribution, or a similar technical/industrial sector Experience in commercial and residential construction is an asset Proficiency in MS Office environment is preferred, experience in AS400 is an asset Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Other critical skills include: analytics, problem solving, independent work, self-motivation, business development, organization/planning, strong communication skills (verbal/written) and attention to detail Must be willing to work irregular hours, when required Ability to travel up to 30% to meet with clients and attend industry events.
