Workplace Coach Company: Boeing Canada Operations Ltd Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a Workplace Coach, reporting to the Training Manager, working out of the Winnipeg office. The Workplace Coach will work with the Skill Enhancement Centers (SEC’s) team within their assigned program areas to remove constraints to production issues, influx of new and transferred employees and assess team and individual employee development and performance needs. The Skill Enhancement Centers (SEC’s) team will utilize process improvement techniques to develop innovative solutions to manufacturing problems and develop recommendations for implementation of new systems or processes. The team will also deliver relevant, timely and cost-effective coaching, mentoring and development solutions for continuous quality improvement. Position Responsibilities: Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives. Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Candidate must be able to work any shift (days, evening or midnight shift) as required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5 + years of experience in aerospace fabrication industry 5 + years of experience in manufacturing operations processes and procedures (Assembly, Plastic, Trim, Paint) Experience working in cross functional environment Must be willing to work any shift Must be legally able to work in Canada Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): Strong training / coaching skills Experience with Lean Principles and Boeing Production System Experience as a team lead and/or lead-hand (coaching, mentoring and developing) Experience with Line Side Control Center processes (LSCC) Experience designing and developing course content and instructional materials Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada.
