The Senior Chemist will support the business by providing high quality analytical laboratory testing of oilfield samples. The Senior Chemist will also support the development of new laboratory methods, digital solutions, and provide customer-facing technical support. What You Will Do: Work in a safe manner while identifying opportunities for improving the safety culture. Provide lab support, analytical data, and interpretation of results to technical and non-technical staff. Collaborate with other team members on projects, experiments, and data analysis. Position Details: Candidate must reside in Calgary, AB or surrounding areas. Working days: Monday- Friday inclusive. Position based on 40 hours/week. Minimum Qualifications: Degree in chemistry or related technical field. A combination of education and experience will be considered for this role with following guidelines: BS or Chemical Technology diploma and 3-5 years of experience, or recent graduates with MS or PhD Preferred Qualifications: Experience in laboratory work and techniques and basic research. Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
