Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage project document control systems to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all project-related materials.
Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of major capital and maintenance projects within the Mine Department.
Assist in scope definition, cost and schedule tracking, and project performance reporting to support overall project control.
Prepare and manage project documentation including work packages, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and procurement documents.
Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor contractor and sub-contractor activities underground to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project standards.
Participate in and document construction and coordination meetings; follow up on action items and ensure timely communication of outcomes.
Oversee contract management duties on behalf of the Owner, including tracking deliverables, managing changes, and ensuring adherence to terms.
Enforce site safety procedures and standards; support continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment by maintaining clear communication and supporting project integration across disciplines.

Proven experience in project document control, preferably within a mining, industrial, or construction environment.
Strong understanding of document control systems, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and implement practical document control solutions in a project team setting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and coordination processes.
Experience with scope, schedule, and cost control as part of project execution.
Knowledge of contract management and procurement documentation (e.g., RFPs, work packages).
Ability to monitor and enforce site safety procedures and protocols.
Must be able to work onsite—remote work is not an option.
