Our Controls Team is looking for an Electrical Apprentice – DDC Building Automation Systems to service our clients in the Greater Vancouver Area.

Job Responsibilities:
Install, wire, and connect electrical components of DDC/Building Automation Systems, including sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication devices
Diagnose and repair electrical issues within HVAC/R and associated systems, such as motors, control panels, relays, and circuit boards
Gain experience in programming and configuring, including setting up control algorithms, adjusting setpoints, and optimizing system performance.
Participate in the start-up and commissioning process
Develop expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex control systems, including identifying faulty components, troubleshooting communication protocols, and resolving software-related issues.
Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Demonstrate proficiency in bending EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) conduit to route and protect electrical wiring
Adhere to safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience
Red Seal Electrician or Electrical Apprentice
Lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with computers
