The Tarian team, part of Amazon's BuilderWorks organization, aids Amazon service
teams in creating, managing, and executing workflows for control plane
processes. Our services help teams define and run all types of control processes
aimed at both technical and non-technical operators. Engineers leverage our
tools for both rapid experimentation and structured change management.
We are leaning into Generative AI with our team defining how Model Context
Protocol servers will serve as the control plane interface of the future.
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer (SDE2) to join the
team. As an SDE2, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and
operations of services within the Tarian charter. Basic Qualifications: - 3+
years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of full software development life cycle,
including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year.
Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of
compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in
addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
