Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Casual (Seasonal) Position Overview: As a Casual Material Handler, you will be responsible for all major material movements within the production facility. You will ensure all moves are made in a safe manner and are properly recorded/input into the warehouse management systems. Job Description: Transport and distribute materials and goods within the facility Pick and stock orders Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment Pack and unpack goods Install, lash, and secure goods Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher. Reach Truck, Narrow aisle, and Picker Truck experience is preferred. Must be able to prioritize numerous demands and possess good time management skills Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work well in a team environment with minimum supervision. Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds. Familiar with computer/tablet use; basic understanding of Microsoft suite is preferred Preference will be given to candidates with accredited reach truck/forklift certification. A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures.
