The incumbent is responsible for improving various aspects of the caisse's associative and cooperative affairs and for boosting the democratic participation of members and customers. He or she assists caisse managers in developing cooperative, associative and democratic presence in the community. More specifically, you will be required to: Participate in creating guidelines for boosting the caisse’s presence in the community and assist with implementing the ensuing action plan. Participate in planning, implementing and monitoring activities related to associative and cooperative affairs in collaboration with the caisse's general manager and officers. Carry out communication activities and consultations with members and customers for the "associative affairs" and "cooperative affairs" components and represent the caisse in the community. Carry out promotional activities and assist with establishing various programs related to the caisse's associative and cooperative affairs. Oversee educational and promotional activities highlighting the cooperative difference aimed at officers, managers, employees, members and customers, by participating in their orientation and welcome. Oversee aspects of programs aimed at youth clientele by facilitating school and student caisses and by forging and maintaining relationships with the school community. Support general management and officers in their efforts to maintain an active presence and promote the caisse in the community. Assist them in maintaining business relationships with various community organizations and clienteles. Participate in organizing the logistics of various caisse events (e.g. annual general meetings, special meetings), particularly with regard to the "associative affairs" and "cooperative affairs" components. As needed, receive, assess, and recommend sponsorship requests, donations and subscriptions and perform ensuing follow-up activities regarding the level of funding granted. Collaborate on inter-cooperation initiatives.
