Job Summary: As a member of the Japanese Corporate Banking “JCB” in Canada, Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting JCB Relationship Managers “RMs” in processing their day-to-day operations in respect of business promotion, internal processing & documentations, administrative & data analysis tasks and reporting. Major Responsibilities: Business Promotion and Internal Process Support - responsibilities include (not limited to): - Work closely with Relationship Managers “RMs” to support day-to-day activities for JCB clients - Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders for smooth business operations - Provide necessary support in adhering to internal processes (e.g. credit applications, borrower ratings and transaction executions) - Prepare marketing materials to clients including regular JCB RM pitch-book updates and ad-hoc client proposals Administrative Support and Reporting & Data Analysis - responsibilities include (not limited to): - Monitor, update and analyze various database, retrieve data to produce reports. Conduct analysis and ensure accuracy and integrity of data and reports - Perform administrative tasks such as expense application preparation, meeting, appointment and business trip arrangement, gift and entertainment and others - Organize business promotional events such as semi-annual JCB FX seminar, and coordinate activities with clients and other stakeholders - Ensure adherence to all bank policies and procedures relative to Regulatory Compliance - Perform and coordinate other duties and projects as assigned by Sr leaders and RMs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (major in accounting / finance / business preferred) 4-5 years' professional working experience Experience in Financial services industry strongly preferred Basic understanding of financial statements and risks, client's business Excellent oral and written communications skills including excellent business writing, editing, and proofreading skills, and accurate and timely administrative capabilities. Proficiency in Japanese language.
