The Opportunity Our Investor Relations team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary to support ensuring timely, accurate and credible information is disseminated to current and potential investors and third parties, both internally and externally. We are seeking a Financial Analyst who has knowledge and experience in accounting, finance, communications and marketing. This individual has the proven skills, competencies and capacity to prepare reports and analysis for senior management and the board of directors, undertake financial and competitive analysis of the Company and its peers and support various other tasks in support of the Investor Relations function. This role will also be involved in the development of investor communication and marketing materials and, on occasion, will interact with investors to facilitate their understanding of the Company's business developments. What you’ll do Prepare and analyze corporate valuation metrics for TC Energy and its peers Research and monitor capital markets developments including distribution of select materials to the Board of Directors, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other senior management Coordinate and prepare quarterly materials for use in investor conference calls and subsequent investor meetings Contribute to public disclosure documents including annual reports, news releases, management discussion & analyses, proxies, annual information forms, prospectuses and quarterly reports Research and monitor investor relations issues and trends Contribute to Investor Day materials and event preparation Ad hoc analysis and follow up as required Assist with development of marketing materials, activity reporting of investor marketing efforts, and development of written investor communication materials Respond to investor email and telephone inquiries Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business or related discipline; Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong desire to continuously learn and an understanding of the energy and financial markets Ability to think critically and problem solve Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently and to tight deadlines Strong written communication skills Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain collaborative working relationships Ability to work outside normal business hours as required Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ensure they are actual qualifications. Being a good team player, working with others and strong communication skills may be required, but these are not qualifications and should be assessed during interviews as opposed to include in job descriptions.
