Job DescriptionHow You’ll Make an Impact:The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients, guests, and associates. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and organized environment at our Etobicoke location.Key Responsibilities:Greet visitors, guests, and vendors, and ensure they sign in/out and receive a badge upon presenting valid IDMaintain a visitor log and request identification as neededNotify appropriate teams upon guest arrivalReceive and route incoming telephone calls; escalate issues when necessaryProcess MAC forms and confirm proper equipment setupMaintain and update the Canada Directory with personnel changesKeep the reception area tidy and presentableReceive incoming mail and handle outgoing correspondenceMaintain building access passes and inventory of office suppliesAssist with Webex system setup in training rooms and the executive boardroomProvide occasional clerical assistance, such as facility management supportFollow all provincial/local safety guidelines and company safety policiesReport accidents/incidents promptly and maintain confidentiality at all timesQualificationsWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent2 years of related work experience preferredStrong customer service skills and ability to remain calm in high-volume environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Comfortable using communication tools like Outlook, Teams, Webex, and textingPositive, professional attitude with strong interpersonal skillsTeam player with a willingness to learn and adaptAble to work a flexible schedule, if requiredFirst Aid certification is an asset (not mandatory)Additional InformationWhat Makes Sodexo Different: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
