Reports directly to the Store Operations Manager and supports in managing the Retail/QSR Leads, as well as hourly Associates.JOB OVERVIEWAssists in overseeing the store’s retail and QSR operations to maximize profitability while upholding the company’s mission, values, policies, quality and guest experience standardsSupports the Store Operations Manager in building and leading a high-performing team: sources and hires, effectively trains, motivates, evaluates, develops and retains talentCollaborates with the management team to optimize schedules and the deployment of the team to minimize labor costs and maximize salesSupports the execution and implementation of strategies around pricing, merchandizing, new products and promotions aimed at increasing efficiencies and driving sales Ensures the team always offers a consistent, high level of service to all guestsAssists in managing merchandise and creating product lists, identifying roll-outs and phase-outs of productsEstimates food and beverage needs, and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specificationsContributes ideas for continuous improvement in retail and QSR operations and guest serviceAssists in preparing weekly updates on the Retail and QSR departments and collaborates interdepartmentally to plan activities and achieve all store goalsOptimizes warehouse space utilization by organizing and arranging inventory efficientlyMonitors inventory levels and takes proactive measures to prevent discrepancies and troubleshoots errors as directedEnters invoices and processes inventory movements into the inventory management systemSupports the departments with physical counts and inventory cycle countsLiaises between departments and vendors’ representatives to ensure proper receiving and inventory management system remains up to dateDocuments, investigates and resolves employee and guest incidentsPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced quick service or retail venueExceptional communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical and business management skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and common retail Point of Sales systemsExperience with Italian products and wineExperience and knowledge in coffee, coffee production and manual espresso machines JOB REQUIREMENTSAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer slicer, pasta machine or cash register as neededSmart Serve CertificationAdditional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental LeaveRRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!
