The Demand Planner is responsible for inventory including inventory management, strategic stock process support and operational performance reporting. What you will be doing Analysis of new incoming equipment to sales area with targeted inventory planning in local stockrooms or select hubs as identified with key stakeholders Focus on maintenance of NWC with respect to inventory planning/ maintenance (sustain healthy NWC while still maintaining support to customer’s active fleet Ensures coordination with relevant stakeholders regarding any improvement activities related with inventory control. Responsible for obsolescence reserve for the product line of responsibility. Responsible to analyze and maintain inventory parameters setting for standard assortment for the product line of responsibility; including but not limited to various consignment stock levels. Responsible for the strategic stock of the product line of responsibility. Responsible for analysis and to drive stock optimization initiatives (i.e.: returns process) on regular bases. Participate and support regional/global initiatives or projects as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that current fleet data (including meter readings, failure reports, ongoing maintenance strategies) are accurately reflected in stock forecasting. Provide analysis, feedback and solutions to improve the operation of all Sandvik Mining equipment models located at a mine site Environmental Health and Safety We are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
