As an Account Executive on our Hardlines team in Canada, you will use your
industry background and experience selling advertising solutions to mid-sized
advertisers and their ad agencies in Canada to successfully grow and scale their
business.
Through client-side and agency relationships, a consultative approach and
understanding of the digital advertising and linear TV landscape, you will act
as a strategic partner to your assigned brands or clients and sell a broad range
of full-funnel advertising solutions to help meet their business goals. As an
individual contributor, you’ll be supported by our cross-functional support
teams and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has
charted the explosive growth of the Ads business in Canada.
Key job responsibilities
• Deliver high level of sales and customer service to our agency and brand media
clients.
• Demonstrate internal leadership across account team and partner groups.
• Build and execute overarching full-funnel strategy from big ideas to
analytical recommendations.
• Create new relationships with clients at all levels within mid to large size
advertiser organizations.
• Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
• Identify net new revenue opportunities from existing advertisers.
• Understand Amazon's display, video, and programmatic advertising opportunities
and tools to help recommend relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.
• Utilize Sales CRM tools to track pertinent account information and sales
progress as well as forecast to achieve quarterly quota goals.
• Exhibit knowledge of Hardlines categories (e.g. Home, Floor Care, Kitchen)
• This role requires a minimum of three days a week working from the Toronto
office and will require travel as needed. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of
relevant work experience, which may include:
Experience gaining access to new stakeholders, generating leads and closing
sales
Experience in digital media and/or brand management.
Industry experience working with Hardlines categories (e.g. Home, Floor Care,
Kitchen, Toys, Consumer Electronics) Preferred Qualifications: Experience
identifying and aggregating trends, past performance metrics, and insights into
effective narratives, with recommendations, to external senior leaders
Experience building client and agency ad partnerships
