Manulife Bank is seeking a Manager, Sales Compensation, to join our team under the leadership of the CFO & Treasurer, Manulife Bank. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual with excellent stakeholder management, communication, transformation, and prioritization skills to manage a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about building business partnerships and collaborating effectively with the Sales Team, Finance colleagues, Reporting Team, and Project Teams. Key responsibilities include fulfilling regular sales compensation requirements, meeting month-end financial deadlines, and assisting in the implementation of new compensation models. Additionally, this role provides the opportunity to transform, design, streamline, and improve the efficiency of existing calculation and reporting processes. Position Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales incentive programs, compensation plans, and sales contests, for our sales force that align with our business objectives. Drive sales performance, motivate and reward the team for achieving sales and other performance metrics Build and foster great relationships with sales leaders and other key collaborators and collaborate to understand business goals, sales strategies, and key performance indicators to design effective sales contests and compensation plans Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing sales contests and compensation plans and make recommendations for improvements Monitor and track sales contest results, sales performance, and compensation payouts to ensure accuracy and fairness, and provide regular reports, trends, and insights to senior management and stakeholders Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while designing and implementing sales contests and compensation plans Collaborate with HR and finance to ensure seamless administration of compensation plans, including accurate and timely payout calculations Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to sales contests, incentive programs, and compensation plans to drive continuous improvement Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience designing and managing sales contests, incentive programs, and compensation plans, preferably in the financial services industry In-depth knowledge of sales compensation best practices, including variable pay structures, performance metrics, and compliance requirements University degree in business administration, finance, actuarial science, or a related field Outstanding software skills especially MS Office applications Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Strong analytical and quantitative skills and able to interpret data and draw meaningful insights to drive decision-making Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to stakeholders.
