We are seeking a dynamic and thorough Portfolio Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the processes and initiatives while playing a key role in supporting internal continuous improvement efforts. This role calls for a problem solver with solid project management abilities and a dedication to improving efficiency and effectiveness within the team! Position Responsibilities: Portfolio/Project Management: Oversee and manage internal portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with team goals and objectives. Support scoping and planning of upcoming initiatives and road mapping as well as quarterly planning. Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to leadership. Identify and mitigate risks across the portfolio, ensuring successful project delivery. Process Improvement: Support internal processes from estimations to closure. Support internal process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing standard methodologies. Work with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. Develop and implement process improvement plans, tracking progress and measuring impact. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio-related inquiries, managing stakeholder expectations and requirements. Conduct regular portfolio reviews with partners to ensure transparency and alignment. Lead and guide project teams, promoting a collaborative environment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Portfolio, Project Management, Process Improvement. Has expertise in leading iterative and agile initiatives; PMP and SAFe designation would be an asset. Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical teams. Strong verbal and written communication; able to optimally articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes to technical and non-technical audience Experience in process improvement initiatives, with a focus on driving operational efficiency. Proven experience as a Portfolio Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, especially Agile and tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, to influence and engage partners at all levels.
