The Competency Development team provides advice and support to Accident Benefits (AB), Bodily Injury (BI) and Claims Legal Departments within the Ontario, Alberta and Western (OAW) by providing specialized training content and programs to meet targeted objectives. As a Casualty Claims Trainer, you will act as a content specialist, analyzing and identifying training requirements for various units, projects, or assignments. You will deliver training sessions primarily to professionals. More specifically, you will be required to: Analyze training requirements while considering the specific needs of the clientele, the training context, and the objectives sought by the client. Facilitate and deliver training sessions for programs or solutions with complex, unusual, and highly specialized content, and support participants during individual coaching. Recommend steps that will provide the necessary support for learning to occur, with a view to improving participants' knowledge or skills. Provide support as an advisor in the implementation of operational and organizational changes stemming from training assignments and projects. Recommend solutions and actions to be taken based on training feedback. Identify repercussions and recommend corrective measures and action plans required to achieve learning objectives to optimize the performance of all services offered. Actively take part in the development, formulation, dissemination, promotion, and upgrade of new training programs, solutions, content, policies, and training standards and skills development. Carry out post-training follow-up activities to foster the transfer of knowledge to the workplace and recommend the necessary corrective measures to reach the learning objectives that will optimize the quality of services offered to the clientele.
