As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing financial and commercial data and providing strategic insights to drive business performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where data-driven decision-making is at the core of our success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Commercial Analysis:
Analyze revenue streams, and profitability metrics to support business decisions.
Ensure Trinity data is up to date, capturing changes to compensation structures and employee movement between accounts.
Prepare and track staffing / FTEs report vs. contracts and budgets.
Prepare monthly journal entries for Retainer Clients
Reporting & Insights:
Assist with Local/Global reporting as required.
Prepare monthly time reports as per clients’ contractual agreements/ requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist with inputs/updates into budgets/forecasts consolidation software (CoreM) and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
Stakeholder Management:
Assist Director, Commercial and Manager, Commercial in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Collaborate across the organization including other teams within finance to resolve issues, and to ensure commercial objectives are met.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
Experience in financial analysis, commercial strategy, or business analytics.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI.
Understanding of media agency operations, media buying, and revenue models.
Excellent communication skills to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree required. Major in accounting, finance or business-related field is preferred.
3-5 years related Commercial and FP&A work experience (with CPA designation or in progress).
Analysis and audit experience would be essential to the role.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a media agency or advertising industry.
Knowledge of financial reporting tools like SAP, and Trinity.
