TITLE: Dishwasher LOCATION: Food and Beverage STATUS: Full time – year round SCHEDULE: Varied shifts both AM and PM Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays. SUMMARY As a dishwasher you will maintain a clean kitchen, properly wash and sort soiled dishes, and prep foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized. Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. Maintain clean / dry floors throughout the shift. WHAT YOU’LL DO Under the direction of the Chef, you will be responsible for all dishwashing and general cleaning. Report to work on time in the proper uniform and obey all company rules and regulations. Meet all dishwashing needs to ensure the kitchen and dining run smoothly during peak business levels. Ensure standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained on a daily basis. Maintain good safety practices. Take fast and appropriate action to solve problems. Maintain line of communication between the Chef and the Kitchen. Keep dish area neat and clean throughout service. Be ready to assist others if needed for food preparation. Need to have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence. Must be 18+ Food Handler Permit Demonstrate competency in operating dish machines and chemicals Requires some exercise of judgement within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval. Requires problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and have a strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.
