Join us in transforming the business credit experience for our Commercial and Small Business clients. We’re looking for a talented and passionate Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. As part of a high-performing and collaborative squad, you’ll help shape the business credit journey at RBC. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, designers, and development teams to maintain specified quality standards with innovative and streamlined solutions that make a real impact. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Leading and executing QE activities within the assigned projects Owning design, implementation and maintenance of test automation solutions and documents for software products. Adoption of available Automation products and suites. Integration of Test Automation into DevOps pipeline Acquire and apply deep domain knowledge, business logic, process, flows, data flows and rules, to ensure meeting the quality standards Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. PM’s, Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, Performance Testers and other team members within the workstream) and provide accurate test status updates to senior management at work-stream level Ensure aligning to RBC QE practices, while partnering across IT and with assigned business lines to plan functional and nonfunctional testing activities including integration, E2E and support for UAT testing WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must-have: 5 to 8 years of Development and QE Automation experience, with previous experience in User Interface and APIs testing. Accessibility testing of User Interface using software like JAWS. Hands-on experience in test integration and processes including integration with DevOps pipeline. Hands-on experience with defining test strategy and test approach. Strong expertise in understanding and use of APIs, extensive knowledge in API Automation, Service Virtualization and Relational and non-SQL database validation (experience with SoapUI, ReadyAPI, POSTMAN, JMeter) Previous/current hands-on experience in test case design and test automation Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related (technical) degree/diploma Good knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application support and development. Hands on experience with qTest, JIRA, qTest and Confluence. Nice-to-have : Software Quality Certifications Credit domain experience in financial industry is a plus. Experience on BDD, Cypress frameworks. Knowledge/experience of Scrum or Kanban framework within Agile Project Methodology o Or Proficiency in Agile principles and practices, with a strong understanding of Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks WHAT'S IN FOR YOU?
