We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Property Protection Specialist to join our Resource Protection team in Langley, BC. This temporary position is expected to last 6 months. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Services – Corporate Security & Product Integrity you will be responsible for maintaining all Pattison Food Group’s (PFG) properties including locks, key systems, electronic locks, audible door alarms, and safes. You will be responsible for: Installing and servicing all locks and door alarms in stores for all banners and other facilities. Ordering replacement keys and locks for all PFG properties. Working with Store Planning and Construction on new stores and renovation projects. Communicating with suppliers and department managers to design locking mechanisms for new equipment including designing new cabinets and equipment for securing company assets. Servicing and installing various equipment for stores and head office including compactor lock out boxes, key cabinets, filing cabinets and desk locks. Corresponding with store managers and team members on various security matters. Maintaining the work vehicle and scheduling regular maintenance. Scheduling travel and contractors to maximize work schedule. You have: Experience working with locks, door systems, and audible alarms. Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite. A Locksmith License or the ability to apply for Locksmith Licence is an asset. A valid Driver’s Licence with the ability to travel on an as needed basis. You are: A problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot security equipment. A strong communicator, both verbal and written. Able to complete work assignments in a timely manner. Detail-oriented with care and attention to maintaining security at all PFG properties. A self-starter able to work unsupervised.
