What you will do Supporting our Data Center Solutions (DCS)/Silent-Aire group, you will oversee a team of inventory and/or warehouse employees. You will be responsible for managing the inventory tracking system, optimizing inventory control procedures, analyzing product and supply levels, and leading the team to ensure efficient operations. How you will do it Perform regular data analysis to predict potential inventory issues and develop mitigation strategies while fostering an outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills to address inventory-related challenges efficiently. Manage employee scheduling, including shifts, breaks, and vacations, to ensure adequate staffing levels. Monitor and review employee performance, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition. Additionally, hire and train new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively. Collaborate closely with engineering, purchasing, and production departments to optimize material specifications, streamline processes, and resolve any issues related to material availability or quality. Utilize inventory management software (e.g., Sage) and data analysis techniques to optimize inventory levels and forecast future requirements. Exhibit excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively coordinate with the team and other stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.
