Job Description: Job Summary This position impacts the organization by assembly inspection to include dimensional/positional accuracy. Responsibilities: Inspects and reports on manufacturing quality. Inspects incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work-in-process and final products using basic inspection gauging. Initiates rejection reports for non-conforming materials. Ensures proper completion of required documentation in accordance with departmental, GMP, and ISO requirements. Performs activities in Quality Control department such as incoming, CQA and final product inspections. Drives process changes, reports on quality metrics and ensures proactive measures are taken to achieve quality goals. Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review. Documents corrective actions and tracks subsequent follow-up activities. Prepares and presents quality status and performance improvements. Initiates rejection reports for non-conforming materials. Identifies and champions resolution of quality issues. Shift Hours: Friday to Sunday 5 AM to 6 PM, and Monday 8 AM to Noon Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent Demonstrated strong math skills without a calculator Minimum of two years’ experience with inspecting mechanical parts and assemblies UPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
