Job Purpose As the Head of Trial Analytics & Decision Support, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics strategies to optimize the GSK GCO Organisation. By harnessing data-driven insights, you will empower teams to make informed decisions, streamline processes, and enhance the efficiency of clinical trials, supporting GSK's mission to improve patient outcomes globally. Key Responsibilities Define and deliver analytics and decision support models for planning and forecasting clinical studies. Lead the development and application of advanced algorithms for study design, country allocation, and site selection. Introduce and utilize modern techniques, including AI/ML and generative AI, to enhance clinical operations tooling. Redefine processes to optimize programs and studies through analytics-driven strategies. Drive the integration of internal and external big data sets into clinical operations decision-making. Build and manage a high-performing team of analysts, fostering collaboration and innovation. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and other tech programs to ensure alignment of data models. Serve as a core member of the Development Analytics Platform Leadership Team (DAP LT). Influence governance and investment decisions by shifting the organization to an insight-driven approach. Ensure seamless delivery of analytics strategies into clinical programs and studies. Why You? Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, life sciences, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in advanced data science, predictive modeling, and analytics within a clinical or research setting. Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, and advanced analytics techniques. Proven expertise in clinical development processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Demonstrated success in implementing and scaling analytics platforms in complex organizations. Strong leadership and team management experience. Project management experience, including managing multiple complex projects and budgets. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA) in a relevant field. Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of operational realities in clinical development. Proven ability to build or evolve control tower or performance management capabilities. Inspirational leadership style, with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity. Strong storytelling skills to translate data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
