Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, approvals, and payment processing. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments in accordance with company policies and payment terms. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments. Monitor and manage AP aging reports, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items. Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to resolve purchase order and receiving issues. Maintain and improve internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting. Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
