Here is what you will be doing: Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and inspire analysts and project coordinators, fostering a culture of high-quality, impactful deliverables. Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Provide thought leadership in quantitative analysis of clinical, administrative, and survey data to produce meaningful system and sector reports—including provider-level and patient experience measurement reports. Strategic Planning: Lead the planning and execution of operational initiatives, developing robust timelines, project plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure service quality and data integrity. Business Intelligence Development: Design and deliver innovative business intelligence reports and analytic dashboards tailored for both internal and external audiences. Performance Measurement: Spearhead the development and refinement of methodologies to capture and communicate relevant, actionable health system performance information. Cross-Sector Collaboration: Engage with diverse teams and contribute to strategic projects that span across primary, long-term, and hospital care, adapting areas of focus as organizational needs evolve. Here is what you will need to be successful: Education and Experience 5 years’ experience working with large healthcare databases (e.g DAD, NACRS, ODB, NMS) using R/SAS/ SQL/Python, and data manipulation/analysis of large cross-sectional and longitudinal data sets to produce research, statistical and public-use reports Experience with Power BI and other BI tools Performance measurement and applied research, working with various types of data and indicators Development and prioritization of health performance indicators and measures as well as clear knowledge of how they can be used to measure the quality of a health care system, as well as the standards and specifications needed to maintain appropriate quality and interpretation of data and results Strong statistical background, specifically interpretation and methodology Health services research including indicator design, biostatistical methods, predictive modelling/forecasting, regression analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, small area regional variations, statistical process control charts Knowledge and Skills Excellent skills with statistical analysis programs (e.g. SAS, Python, R, SQL) Excellent skills with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI Communicate effectively with different groups, such as policy makers, researchers, partners, developers, and the public Forge and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, researchers, external service providers, stakeholders, and the public Use excellent time management and organizational skills to produce timely results Ability to lead/oversee a team, providing leadership and mentorship #LI-hybrid #LI- RS1 Location Toronto, Ontario (currently hybrid; subject to change) Employment Type: Permanent Full time Contract Length: N/A Salary Band: Band 6 External Application Deadline Date: August 15, 2025 All applicants must be a resident of Ontario to be considered for roles at Ontario Health.
