Delivery Driver/Warehouse Clerk Status: Hourly, Part time Location: Hamilton, Ontario Job Description Interested? Daytime schedule: Monday to Friday. Known customer base. Opportunity for advancement. Do you have what we’re looking for? Experience with delivery work. Valid driver’s license (Class G or more advanced). Fork lift/reach training Someone with good people skills who enjoys having a personal relationship with customers. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and has due regard for safe working practices. Attention to detail Here’s a typical day: Organize the day’s scheduled deliveries and load vehicle. Ensure that the delivery route and load organization are fully optimized. Enter shipment details into POD program. Be proactive and deal with route and itinerary changes. Make sure that everything has been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises. Assist warehouse personnel in order picking, packing and double checking for accuracy.
