The Opportunity: The Quality Label Technician is an onsite, office-based position, and is responsible for the creation of master case labels and miscellaneous label related tasks such as PO adjustments and inventory reconciliation. The Quality Label Technician will ensure all Cannabis Regulations, Provincial Guidelines, Quality Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to when generating, approving, and printing labels. Support all sites with the creation, design and when applicable printing of master case and bulk labels. Contact 3rd party label printers (i.e. during investigations) and when required to support the Quality Label Supervisor. Print master case labels, bulk labels and if required primary labels, ensuring labels meet company standards for content and cosmetics. Work collaboratively across all departments to ensure labels are generated in a timely manner. Perform Quality Label Supervisor tasks when Quality Label Supervisor is unavailable. Conduct inventory checks of products related to the label process. Assist with PO adjustments as required by the Quality Label Supervisor. Assist with other tasks required by the Senior Quality Manager or Senior Quality Director. As the Quality Label Technician, you bring: 1 year of work experience in a scientific related field or cannabis industry. Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent analytical skills and above-average attention to detail. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Oriented towards quality work and service. Capable of multitasking with minimal supervision. Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
