What You'll Do
As the Product Manager, Digital Agriculture & Environmental Marketplace, you will guide the architecture, integration, and performance of digital systems and data flows underpinning Canada’s most ambitious environmental outcomes initiative in agri-foodagriculture to advance CANZA’s mission. This role leads the design and deployment of digital infrastructure to enable traceable, verifiable, and scalable regenerative agriculture practices and credit systems.
This individual will be responsible for aligning technical partners, platforms, and protocols to ensure seamless data capture, MRV compliance, and marketplace readiness.You’ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across internal teams, tech vendors, and strategic advisors to build a farmer-friendly digital backbone that supports outcome generation, buyer confidence, and long-term platform sustainability, contributing to the creation of a sustainable agri-food system for Canada. You will take on the following responsibilities:
Digital Infrastructure Development
In tandem with the Director of Data & Marketplace Strategy, Llead the design, integration, and evolution of the platform ecosystem supporting MRV, farmer onboarding, credit packaging, and marketplace transactions.
Manage technical vendor relationships and oversee implementation timelines, platform performance, and interoperability.
Ensure scalability and adaptability of the system for national deployment.
Data Governance & Architecture
Define and implement robust data architecture, governance, and privacy frameworks in compliance with national and global standards.
Enable real-time data flows between producers, agronomic systems, and outcome buyers through seamless API integrations and backend alignment.
Ensure the integrity, transparency, and traceability of all datasets used in outcome validation and credit issuance.
MRV and Credit Enablement
Collaborate with science and verification partners to digitize and operationalize MMRV protocols.
Develop systems to support outcome stacking (carbon, water, biodiversity) and support regional specificity while maintaining platform uniformity.
Internal Systems Support
Provide technical guidance and solutions for internal coordination, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across teams.
Support integration of field data, finance, communications, and reporting systems.

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product management – defining users and needs, collecting and synthesizing requirements, building and communicating a product roadmap, and ensuring digital products are shipped on time and budget.
Demonstrated technical experience with data systems, platform development, or technology integration, preferably in climate tech, agriculture, or environmental sectors.
Familiarity with MMRV systems, API design, geospatial tools, and SaaS environments.
Knowledge of regenerative agriculture, carbon markets, environmental crediting, or technology-enabled marketplaces is preferred.
