We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Device Virtualization Advisory Consultant to help clients modernize their end-user computing environments through device virtualization. This role involves assessing client needs, designing virtualization strategies, and guiding the implementation of solutions such as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS), and mobile device virtualization. You will play a key role in enabling secure, scalable, and efficient digital workspaces You will guide clients through the design, implementation, and optimization of virtualization technologies. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to align IT solutions with business goals. You will work closely with enterprise clients to assess current environments, recommend virtualization strategies, and ensure successful deployment and integration You will establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a trusted advisor and providing strategic insights and recommendations that drive customer success. In this role you will be defining the scope of work, preparing proposals, and conducting solution demonstrations. You will engage with potential customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions that meet their requirements. Leading and delivering consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction, and providing post-implementation support are also key aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate client environments and business requirements to develop tailored device virtualization strategies. Advise on and implement solutions such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft AVD, and other VDI/DaaS platforms. Guide clients through the transition from physical to virtualized device environments. Provide expertise on endpoint management, user experience optimization, and security in virtualized environments. Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Deliver technical documentation, architecture blueprints, and executive-level briefings. Stay current with trends in device virtualization, edge computing, and digital workplace technologies. Who You Are Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT consulting or infrastructure roles with a focus on device or desktop virtualization. Hands-on experience with VDI/DaaS platforms such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD, or Amazon WorkSpaces. Strong understanding of endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, Citrix Endpoint Management). Familiarity with identity and access management, security policies, and compliance in virtualized environments. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Citrix CCA/CCP, VMware VCP-DTM, Microsoft Azure certifications) are a plus.
