How You’ll Spend Your Day
As a Dishwasher at the Deerfield Pub, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the heart of our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our culinary team to ensure all dishware, cookware, and kitchen tools are clean, sanitized, and ready for service. Your day-to-day will include:
Operating our commercial dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils
Hand-washing delicate or oversized items
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized dish area
Taking out kitchen garbage and recycling, and cleaning bins regularly
Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to keep work areas safe and tidy
Assisting with basic food prep and closing duties as needed
Following food safety and sanitation standards
Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
