Student: one adult learner (male) – in-person
Location: Student's office, near Cathédrale Marie Reine du Monde, 1085 Rue de la Cathédrale, Montreal, Quebec H3B 2V3
Availability: Monday and Friday, mornings or afternoons (between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week
Lesson Duration: 1 hour per lesson
Student’s location/time zone: Montreal, Eastern Time (ET)
Current target language level: Beginner
Native and other spoken languages: English, Chinese, Indonesian
Student’s language needs and goals:
The student aims to improve his conversational skills in French across a variety of everyday topics, with special focus on:
Grammar, vocabulary, and common expressions
Structured lessons with clear objectives and consistent methodology
Conversation practice incorporated into each lesson
An organized, methodical approach to accelerate real-life communication skills
His areas of interest include current affairs.
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learner’s proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring student’s progress and guiding toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
Native or near?native written and spoken proficiency in French
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second?language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of experience
Experience teaching adults is preferred
