As a senior frontend engineer, you'll design and deliver intuitive, responsive, and scalable web applications, contributing directly to the evolution of the trading experience. This role blends hands-on development with architectural input and mentoring, allowing you to influence both user experience and product direction. You'll collaborate across teams to implement highly visible features and maintain technical excellence in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Accountabilities:
- Architect and implement user-facing features for high-impact trading applications using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
- Own projects end-to-end—from technical design and implementation to deployment and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and designers to build seamless, accessible, and performant interfaces.
- Develop and maintain shared component libraries and contribute to evolving the design system.
- Translate complex UI/UX designs into functional, production-ready code with strong attention to detail.
- Mentor peers and contribute to shaping frontend best practices and overall technical direction.
- Ensure seamless integration with REST APIs and WebSocket services, optimizing for responsiveness and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and frameworks like TailwindCSS.
- Experience translating Figma or other design mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive interfaces.
- Familiarity with building systems that communicate via REST APIs and WebSockets.
- A strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver clean, scalable code in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and design polish.
- Experience guiding or influencing frontend architecture and team standards.
Nice-to-haves:
- Background in algorithmic trading or personal trading projects.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of financial markets or fintech systems.
