Job Description WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Global Payments Technology at RBC is a team that focuses on developing and implementing payment solutions and technologies to support the bank's global payment operations. They work on designing, building, and maintaining payment systems, infrastructure, and applications to enable secure, efficient, and reliable payment processing for RBC's customers. This position requires performing critical functions in the GPT portfolio WHAT WILL YOU DO? Capacity Management Maintain and update the directory listing for CRTP, which serves as a foundation for capacity and financial management reports Manage the Contractor Database, ensuring its accuracy through regular review meetings with people managers and directors Vendor Management - Assist in vendor management, including: Vendor resource validation Invoice adjustments Project openings and closures Financial Management Oversee project management allocations, consolidating individual project managers' team allocations to provide built-in reporting for project cost assessment and capacity utilization Present financial dashboards to senior leadership monthly, tracking project baselines, forecasted vs. actual budgets, and department-wide projects Project Management Lead agile ceremonies as a hands-on Project Manager for Critical System Enhancements, ensuring projects are on track and within budget Participate in compliance meetings with various squads to align on work and progress Portfolio Management Keep a track of mandatory project artifacts, ensuring that all project-related documents and information are properly maintained and updated Facilitate weekly meetings to address blockers and issues, and work closely with the program team to consolidate status reports and ensure timely updates Serve as a Confluence admin, responsible for: Access management Issue resolution for Confluence and Jira applications Other Accountabilities Onboarding of new FTEs and CTRs Facilitate chapters meetings to unite Scrum Masters and PMs to explore new technology changes and ideas Collaborate with project managers to open or close projects, update baselines, and make changes to projects as needed Back up Scrum Masters on their existing teams when they’re on leave WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must Have: 3+ years of experience in portfolio operations including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and allocations Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Understanding of IT Standards, Methodologies (SDLC, PMF) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and priorities Nice-To-Have: Knowledge of Project Management Software (MS Project, MIS, Planview) Experience with Agile methodologies or other project management frameworks is an asset Ability to manage project and business risks, including project interdependencies, and resolve issues effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and provide creative solutions What’s in it for you?
